Cristina Beloud is a retired 25 year veteran of the United States Secret Service. She began her Special Agent career in 1993 in the Cincinnati Field Office and later held protective assignments on the Reagan Protective Division in Los Angeles and Vice Presidential Protective Division in Washington DC. Following her Vice Presidential assignment, she served as a Special Agent Instructor for Protective Detail Training at the Secret Service training academy in Beltsville, MD. Cristina was later promoted to supervisor with the Presidential Protective Division under President George W. Bush where she led a specialized tactical unit among other notable supervisory assignments. Cristina is fortunate to have a distinguished career that allowed her to travel to all points of the globe. A highlight was her assignment as the protection supervisor for then Homeland Security Advisor, Frances Townsend which took her to regions across the Middle East during the post 911 era. Cristina was also assigned as a Supervisory advance agent for President Bush’s anti terrorism summit at Al Assad Air Base in Iraq in 2007.
In 2008, Cristina was selected to lead the Secret Service office in Tucson, Arizona as the Resident Agent in Charge. In 2012 Cristina was awarded the “Outstanding Public Service Award” by the Women in Federal Law Enforcement (WIFLE) organization for her leadership following the assassination attempt on Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson, AZ on January 8, 2011.
In 2013, Cristina was selected as the Special Agent in Charge of the Phoenix Field Office, serving Arizona and New Mexico. She was appointed by the Secretary of DHS as the deputy federal coordinator for Super Bowl 49 in Glendale, AZ with oversight of federal, state and local law enforcement assets supporting the security of NFL events around the Valley.
In 2018 Cristina retired from the Secret Service and took a position with Amazon.com where she served as a Security Operations leader at the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in Goodyear, AZ. Cristina led a team of risk and intelligence analysts and foreign language escalations specialists toward implementing worldwide best practices in security policy, procedure and risk mitigation. She also managed a small team of Workplace Violence Threat Specialists tasked with providing real time consultation and risk management strategies to Amazon fulfillment centers around the world.
In 2019, Cristina founded CMB Consulting LLC, a security solutions and consulting company serving high-level clients as a best practices advisor and major events coordinator. Cristina is a Phoenix, AZ native, lifelong equestrian and resides in Scottsdale with her husband, horses and dogs.
